Fantasy Rugby Scout Picks #Reds

The Reds won the competition in 2011 and have been on the decline ever since. Last season they finished third to last as they continue to scratch their heads in the absence of Will Genia and James Horwill. Who's left?

Samu Kerevi – Will do in one phase what other players take a game to achieve. Not the most reliable, or the most skilled, but makes up for it with brute force. Scored six tries and three assists last season. Averaged 45.57 points per game in Fox Fantasy.

Liam Gill – In his last season with the squad, will no doubt want to go out on a high. Solid at the breakdown and active on both sides of the ball. Slightly quieter 2015 but still averaged 30.33 per game.

James Slipper – No way around it, you need props. This man will soften the edge though, as he comes with a history of high scoring, as long as he stays fit.

Ayumu Goromaru – Neither young nor unknown after an incredible Rugby World Cup that catapulted him to global fame, this composed fullback is riding a tsunami of a wave and you’d do well to hop on while it lasts.
