We continue with our pre-season Super Rugby picks moving on to the Brumbies who lost last season to the Hurricanes in the semi-finals.
David Pocock – Injury and controversy prone, but on his day arguably the most valuable player in the tournament. Designated rolling maul try scorer. The Zimbabwean born loosie has scored 16 Super Rugby Tries, eight for the Force and eight for the Brumbies. Helping his gold status is his strike rate for the Brumbies which is a try every 2.4 games compared to one every 8 .6 games when he was at the Force.
Stephen Moore Hookers have taken a bit of a hit recently, but Moore is ever-present and will find a way to get you on the board. The Aussie Hooker has the hair-styling nuances and work ethic of a shorter Nathan Sharpe. Eleven Super Rugby tries and always high-up in the engine room stats.
Christian Lealiifano - prone to injuries, the versatile inside back is a FOX points scorer of note. Was a regular member of our dream team last season. Plays at center but kicks for posts giving UDT players a second option with the boot.
Rory Arnold – A returning name to the team, but one whose value is yet to be fully realized. Scored a try and an assist last season despite being rotated off the bench. Provides a cheaper option to Sam Carter who is more of a shoe-in than a "Wild Card".
