Fantasy Rugby Scout Pre-Season Picks #Chiefs

The new and expanded edition of the Super Rugby promises more games, more teams and more countries. For Fantasy managers this also means more players to choose from. If you feel bombarded by the plethora of new options fear not! We're coming to the rescue with our top picks from each team. Our man Alex Tarr is playing judge, executioner and jury awarding Gold, Silver and Bronze to the top Fantasy Picks in each team. Alex will also be issuing wildcards when he feels like it!

We've already done picks for the Blues, Bulls, Brumbies and Cheetahs

Brodie Retallick – At just 24-years old and already with 47 tests and 59 Super Rugby games behind his name Retallick is the future of All Black lineouts. Consistent and hard working all around the park. Will not disappoint unless he gets injured.

Charlie Ngatai – Mr Right Place Right Time. Much of what he does goes unnoticed on the field, but you’ll thank me on Monday when the scores are finalised. He does sometimes get noticed- scores a try every 2.5 games in Chiefs colours (which this year are pretty loud and tribal).

Aaron Cruden – Coming off a long injury, but at his best is one of the best pivots in the game. In Fox Fantasy he's bronze but not worth his $21 million price tag in UDT.

Glen Fisiiahi – Set to fill in at outside back with an array of talent on his inside. Well placed to poach a brace of points.
