Last year was the Hurricanes season. But the final belonged to the Highlanders. The back-lines coming out of Otago are always deadly but they had forwards in 2015 who could hold their own, sort of. Still can't believe they won. Let's have a look at the medalists.
Waisake Naholo – Nobody saw him coming in 2015, neither the Fantasy Managers nor his opposition. The Fijian born (where else?) emerged as an unstoppable finisher. Scored 13 tries last year to finish top of the five-pointer charts. Averaged 41.67 points per game in Fox Fantasy so he's priced in the Sports car range at at $468K. Could find better value elsewhere in Fox but tough to leave him out if you're playing UDT.
Malakai Fekitoa – Another who struggled slightly by his standards in 2015, but had good days. Breaks tackles seemingly at will. Scored seven tries in 2014 which dropped down to four last year. Averaged a respectable 33.1 points per game last year in FOX Fantasy.
Ben Smith – Part time fullback, part time Jedi Master. Consistently performs at an incredibly high level but needs to improve on last year to jusfify his $431K price tag.
Teihorangi Walden – Former Junior All Black, now partnering Fekitoa. What we love about him is his price tag at just $112K. He's starting this weekend and could be a potential bargain-binner chicken dinner! Up against George Moala though so might be cold soup served up.
